Vous l'attendiez peut-être, voici les premières informations concernant les membres du Mock Band, outre la présence de Fabien Bertrand et moi-même (Rebecca Noël).
Petit rappel avant tout !
Courant 2011, après plusieurs représentations du spectacle dans des petits lieux (appartements ou salles à petite jauge), le duo songe à une formation à quatre. Cette dernière aurait plusieurs avantages : elle permettrait de créer les arrangements du futur album et de les rôder sur scène avant leur enregistrement studio, mais elle pourrait permettre aux musiques de Mock d'être diffusées sur de grandes scènes. Ainsi Mock proposerait un concert et non plus le spectacle avec sa scénographie et sa mise en scène. Leur volonté est de toucher un plus vaste public, et ainsi faire la promotion du spectacle en duo... et inversement...
La recherche d'un batteur et d'une violoncelliste débuta en mai 2011. Dès le départ, Fabien songeait à Romain Di Loreto à la batterie avec qui il a l'habitude de travailler (Fabergo et autres projets). Les musiques de Mock allaient pouvoir entrer dans la catégorie de "musique actuelle" et sonner encore plus rock. En second lieu, Mock souhaitait trouver un(e) violoncelliste afin d'ajouter de la profondeur à ses morceaux. Après un travail de plusieurs semaines avec une multi-instrumentiste, le départ de cette dernière pour Paris, a ralenti l'élan récemment acquis. Les répétitions débutèrent en septembre 2011, subirent un arrêt pour finalement reprendre en mars 2012... Le Mock Band débuterait donc en trio.
De fait, afin de booster la manœuvre, des dates de concert ont ainsi été fixées ! Retrouvez nous pour notre grande première le jeudi 3 mai au Trader's Bar à Nancy. L'événement est organisé par l'Association Pip's et Bulle, et nous partagerons la scène avec Aalexh, créateur du concept de BD-Concert en Lorraine.
Concernant notre nouveau décor, il devrait voir le jour au plus tard fin mai. Dès que de nouvelles dates de spectacle seront fixées, vous serez bien sûr avertis !

May be you waited for it, then here are the first infos about the Mock Band members, out of Fabien Bertrand and myself (Rebecca Noël).
Let’s a little recall !
During 2011, after many performances of the show in little places (flats or low capacity rooms), the duo think about a quatuor. This idea would offer several advantages : it would permit to create the arrangements of the future album and to adapt them to the stage before the audio recording, but it would especially permit to Mock songs to be shown on great stages. Then Mock would offer a concert instead of a show with its scenography and its staging.Our desire is to touch a larger audience, and in this way promote the show in duo... and vice versa...We started searching for a drumer and a cellist in May 2011. From the beginning, Fabien though about Romain Di Loreto for the drums, with whom he use to work (Fabergo and other projects). The Mock musics would be able to enter the “new music” category and sound more like rock. Secondly, we wished to find a cellist for givind more depth to our pieces. After a several weeks work with a multi-instrumentalist, her leaving to Paris slowed the boost we got. The rehearsals began in September 2011, stopped for finally restart in March 2012... The Mock Band would enter by a trio.
By this way, to boost the
thing, some concert dates have been fixed ! Join us for our great
first Thursday 3, May at the Trader’s Bar, Nancy (FR). The event is
organised by the Pip’s et Bulle association, and we’ll share the
stage with Aalehx, the BD-concert concept creator in Lorraine.
Some other dates are
going to be fixed.
About our new scenery, it
should be shown in the end of May later. You’ll be warned for sure
when new dates will be fixed !
